The Candle Girl
Why won't a candle light next to their grandpa's bed? Your about to find out in "The Candle Girl," a story of loving, losing, and life.
Going Home
Thomas Wolfe said, “You can’t go home again,” but sometimes you must go home to discover whom you really are.
Mary Stephenson is lost, and she doesn’t even know it. She is married to man she hardly talks to anymore, has two young boys she barely gets to spend time with, and works non-stop at a job she doesn’t even like, when she gets an invitation to speak at the 8th Annual National Air Quality Conference in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Now, she is going back home where she must confront the horrible secret she has been running from since the death of her mother eighteen years ago and try to reconnect with her father and young sister that she left behind.
While Mary deals with her inner demons, it is up to her father, Walter Corrie, to teach his grandchildren what it means to be a southerner, a brother, and a man and make his family whole again.
Going Home is a novel about love, forgiveness, family, and the magic one finds in the South.
